Hey, Bob !  Yeah, I'm still working.  I, too, am planning my retirement..... September 1, 2017.  Only thing...this is my THIRD retirement (USAF; DoD Defense Contractor; and Ferguson Enterprises).  I also feel I won't be completely retired and not doing anything.  I'll find something to do and bring in some 'mad money' for vacations and traveling.

Bob -

After "retiring" in 2003 from a corporate career, I've continued to work as many as four part-time activities. Today, these still include radio, advertising and teaching business courses at CCAC as an adjunct. You have it right.......it's important to stay active both mentally and physically as we age. Retirement is just a state of mind which allows you more flexibility to do what you want when you want. Keep on truckin'!

Jeff

Greetings Classmates of 63.  Just a kick note to tell younz about an informal class get together on Thursday Oct 5 at the VFW on Wild Life Lodge Rd.  ( Sound familiar)  We would also plan  to have a golf outing that afternoon for anyone intersted in playing.  If interested please contact me, Fred Grau, or Jackie Anderson Donley.  More to come later, say early September... Again, all informal, pay as you go for your golf, food, booze etc. The comaraderie and frienship are  free!!!  All the best to you and yours.  Wayne Schuricht

What's the temperature in New Ken in October. In the 70s. I was just in NYC and it was in the low 40s. I've learned, I don't do cold. However, it sounds interesting.

Howdy again, just a quick reminder for all the class of 63, to save the date, OCT 5, 2017, for an informal "mini reunion", gab fest, drink a few beers, and catch up with your classmates.  Time - about 6:00 P.M. at the VFW in Lower Burrell.  Everyone is invited.  No reservations unless you want to play golf that morning, just so we can reserve enough tee times.  Contact Fred Grau per the message on the front of the web site.  All the best to you and yours.  Wayne Schuricht

Well, our 2017 "MINI" reunion has come and gone.  All those who attended had a great time visiting with old friends and classmates.  A big thanks to Fred Grau who organized our golf outing.  Classmates who attended, ladies first of course are Jackie Anderson Donly, Karen Lohr Petraca Marilyn Harkins Claussen, Teresa Pugliese Becicco and Yvonne Pelino!!!  The gentlemen were Fred Grau, Tom Orszulak, Harry (Buzzy) Woloson, Tom Watt, Johe Dudkowski, Reggie Wood, Jim Antoniono and yours truly.  We had some honored guests also, Cindy Grau, Joann Schuricht, Kristen Kulikowski and her daughter Lauren (Fred Grau's daughter and granddaughter), and Chad Hanna, Class of 65, and Frank Maier, Class or 57.  We hope to keep up this little tradition in the future, but it is up to ALL OF US to attend and participate.  So keep reading and posting on this wonderful web site.  So long for now, Wayne

WAYNE, SCOTT, TOM.

Thanks so much for organizing this event.  I (finally) retired on July 1, and am still adjusting to the consequent lower income.  I appreciate what you are doing and will attempt to attend a future event.  I like the idea of inviting surrounding classes to attend.  We all had older and younger friends at Ken Hi.
