Richard lived just across the tracks from my house in Valley Camp; in fact, if we had wanted to, we could have hit each others house with a well aimed stone... but we never did.

Richard played OL on the Ken Hi Red Raiders.

Richard served in the US Navy and we managed to be noticed at the wrong time, in Boot Camp at Great Lakes, while we were both doing some punishment rifle drills, because we had both been noticed at other times, in other places in Boot Camp.  ;>)

Richard came from a pretty great Family and they never threw a stone at me either.

I'm sure that Richard is dearly missed. See you, Richard.

Oh. Richard was a damn fast freestyle swimmer.  I saw him moving like an Olympic hopeful, down at the nearby Allegheny River.

I am sorry to hear about Richard. We played football together at Ken Hi.He help protect me from oposing players hitting me.  Didn't realize he was such a great swimmer.

I believe Richard Haynes passed in 2015. Oddly, the memories I have of him  are those of fear.  He had a crush on me and used to follow me home from school and throw snowballs at me, etc. I"m sure he was a nice guy, but scared me!
